How did you come to know Christ?
I was saved when I was 8 years old at my home church during a week long revival. Unfortunately I didn't really start growing in my faith walk with Christ until I was about 19. The Lord really started working in my life after several rock bottom experiences and I knew that He was calling me to something bigger than anything I could do on my own. The Lord began to place opportunities in my life to minister to young girls and women who were struggling with similar strong holds that God had so graciously freed me from. My heart to see young women grow in their love for Jesus grew stronger and stronger and God continues to grow that passion on a daily basis.
Why do you work for FCA?
I love sports and always have, I just never knew that is would be such a huge part or my life. In August of 2005 God placed an amazing man of God in my life and we were married in September of 2006. He has been a college women's basketball coach for over 10 years and I feel blessed to be able to combine athletics and ministry not only with FCA but in my marriage and relationship's with Trent's basketball girls. God has truly combined my love for sports and my passion for women's ministry in such a unique way and I believe it is all for His glory and the furtherance of his kingdom.
What are your goals or vision for this year with FCA?
My heart is to be a blessing to those I work with and for athletes to see Christ real and active in my life. I want to come along side my co-workers and help them in any way I can to bring about the mission and vision of FCA in the lives of coaches and athletes.
