FCA Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches. Competitors who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training need to attend FCA Camp.
The Role of the Huddle Leader

Our huddle leaders serve the athletes as mentors both on the field and off the field. All of our huddle leaders are young accomplished athletes who are serious about their sports and their faith. The huddle leaders volunteer their time during camp to involve themselves in the lives of the kids, teach them their sport, and lead them in discussions about faith in God.
Every year our response from the campers says that the huddle leaders are the best part of the camp.
The Quiet Time

Each morning the athletes are given some time to just be quiet, pray, and read the Bible. This is a great time for them to start contemplating their spiritual life and to consider the Bible’s relevance in their situations today.
The Evening Program

Each night all the campers from every sport gather in the ball room of the Dubois center along with their coaches and huddle leaders. The program is an enthusiastic environment with Videos, Music, Highlights from the day, Competitions on stage, Huddle leader skits, and our inspirational speaker.
Our speaker is always a gifted communicator and someone who can capture the attention of the athlete and engage them in the challenge of growing deeper in a relationship with God.
The program concludes with huddle meetings and talking about the program, the day, and the schedule for the next morning. |
