Camp Staff

Each year FCA brings coaches to camp that have proven success as coaches and players at the highest levels.  Our coaches love basketball, have incredible knowledge of the game, and most of all they love investing in young men’s lives.

Campers will also be mentored both on and off the court by their huddle leaders.  The huddle leaders are current or former players that know what it takes to play at a high level.  The huddle leaders will spend a lot of time with the campers over the four days and are without a doubt the best part of camp.

Basketball staff in the past has included:

Russ Pennel, current head coach of the UA Wildcats

Trent May, current head coach of the GCU Lopes

Rick Roth, head basketball coach at Southwestern College

Mark Nold, two-time state championship coach of Apollo HS.  Current Perry HS head coach.
